Project Overview
A large U-shaped executive boardroom at the North American Division headquarters, equipped for high-end video conferencing, in-room presentation, and committee meetings with full camera and audio coverage.
The Challenge
The boardroom hosts division-level committee meetings with participants joining both in person and remotely from around the continent. The space needed multiple table input points so any seat could share content, full-room audio pickup for hybrid meetings, and a control system intuitive enough for non-technical leadership to operate.
Our Solution
RTZ installed a Panasonic laser projector for primary presentation and added multiple table inputs so any participant can share. A ceiling microphone array combined with ceiling distributed speakers and an Extron audio DSP delivers clear voice pickup and reinforcement across the long U-shape. A rear PTZ camera handles video conferencing, and two 12" widescreen Extron touch panels split duties — one for source/room control and one dedicated to live camera preview and PTZ control.
