Project Overview
A simple, single-panel gymnasium audio system at KIPP DC, designed for assemblies, athletics, and events with controls any teacher or coach can pick up without training.
The Challenge
The gym had to support multiple use cases — assemblies, basketball games, P.E. classes, and special events — but the control surface had to be simple enough that any teacher or coach could walk up and use it without IT support.
Our Solution
Four One Systems ceiling-hung loudspeakers powered by Q-SYS amplifiers, fed by a Q-SYS audio platform. A 7" wall-mounted Q-SYS touch panel gives staff straightforward audio level control and basic mixing — no networks, no menus, no training.
